This app has no account and never asks for your name or your email address.
What you roll stays on your phone. At most we count how often there is a roll, never what.
What we count
We count how the app is used. So the app opened, a roll with how many dice and how often, a game with how many players, the language and the country set on your phone. Counters.
With that goes a random number the app makes up itself. It is not Apple's advertising identifier and it says nothing about who you are. Names and anything you type are not counted.
To send the counters, your phone also gets a random number from Firebase, the same one used for the feedback button. That number does not go into the counters. Firebase keeps it, and your phone remembers it.
Rather not? Switch off "Share anonymous play counts". It sits in the feedback sheet and in Settings on your iPhone, under the name of the app. Switch it off and the app throws the number away and sends nothing more.
The feedback button
Press the feedback button and we send the text you type.
This goes with it automatically: your iOS version, your screen size, which screen you had open and the language of the app. That lets us replay a bug.
To send the message, Firebase gives your phone a random number. Firebase keeps that number. It is not Apple's advertising identifier and it says nothing about who you are.
In the browser
Play in the browser and we do count along: a random number the page makes up itself, which screens you reach and what you pick. So the app opened, a game started, with how many players. Counters. Your rolls and the names you type are not counted. To send that, your browser also gets a random number from Firebase, which it remembers; it does not go into the counters. You can switch that off in the feedback sheet too.
Press the feedback button in the browser and this goes with it automatically: the text that was on your screen, your browser and your screen size.
Your settings and the names you type are kept by the browser, on your own device.
What we do not keep
No name, no email address, no phone number.
No location, no contacts, no photos, no health data.
No payment details.
Nothing from other apps.
Where it goes
To Firebase, from Google. The messages and the counters sit there in our own database, Google Firestore, in the United States.
With every connection Firebase sends a short technical line, including the version of iOS and of Firebase. Google uses that line for its own Firebase statistics. The line does not say who you are.
We sell nothing on and we share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.
There are no adverts and no third-party trackers in the app.
Children
The app never asks for personal details.
Getting your data removed
What you set or type in the game lives only on your phone. Delete the app and it is gone.
The counters carry no name, so we cannot find them per person. Switch counting off and nothing more is added.
Want a feedback message removed? Email labs.hkb@gmail.com with what you wrote and roughly when.
